saw this, and just imediately wondered, how long before some nimrod paints his aircraft with this stuff, and then wonders why the radio don't work.

I'm not 100% sure here, but won't this certain type of paint only block a certain frequency (i.e. whatever band cellular telephones operate on?) Therefore, our 72 MHz band would likely still be able to pass through.

Yeah, but how about the 'future of R/C,' i.e., 2.4 GHz ISM band and spread spectrum? Even metallic films on mylar and titanium oxide pigment in white shrink covering can significantly block signals in this part of the spectrum. It seems potentially for real - worth taking into consideration.

It would be good for painting those 100+" wings with their aileron extensions 36" long!
