Default RE: AMA Pilot Test?

Exactly my point well made by both of you. Thank you. Trolling...well if that is what you want to call it. My point in each of those forums gives an opinion that is not just my own to the same basic question in many different forums. What is the AMA contributing now days? I know you can give me a list, but forgo the same ol thing I've seen over and over I understand that fully. But, the dwendling numbers is an obvious sign of a problem, but in typical fashion it is blamed on someone or something besides yourselves. So let's try to stay focused here. Is it ok for an AMA card holding club member here at the local club to tell people they cannot learn at their field for one reason after the other? Is it ok for someone to ask an honest question in a forum on RCU, only to be ridiculled? As I stated, I have seen at least one time in each forum where an honest question is answered with ridicule. I'm not talking about my questions. The only question I have is.......Is it possible for an AMA member to actually consider a non AMA member to be someone who is not careless, reckless, and not worthy of a descent answer without ridicule and personal attacks? Regardless of my. or yours for that matter, AMA affiliation the kind of arrogant candor shown to prospective AMA or club members is a problem not only on RCU but at fields all over. There are many fields that have the desire to see this hobby grow, and as such, they take the time and show the respect to new people WE ALL should. Maybe I'm an idiot for caring what happens to this hobby, and trying to have a voice for those that thought about RC but backed out after an encounter like these that is becoming more and more typical with this hobby. I'm know I'm not going to rule the roost or change anyones mind, but for just once I would like to see a bit of unity in this hobby instead of a constant war. Just like every other group that has been like this, this will fall apart too. I've seen it alot and even a local association I belong to was about to fall apart for nearly the same type of problems I see on here. Oh well, I give up. There is no use trying to care about a hobby who has few people who actually care about it. Personal benefit seems to be the rule of the day here, so have at it. Rome didn't fall in a day either. Sometimes I wish I hadn't studied history. I hate to see history repeating itself. I know bash me about the comparison to Rome.........go ahead, but yes it is the same.

ORIGINAL: Zephirus79

I was told I could find a flight test to earn my "open license" at my flight field. He said it was on the AMA website, but I cant find it anywhere... could someone point me to it?
