Our club is looking into putting up a new enclosed Frequency Board at our field.

Is there a company(s) that we could buy a ready made one from?

What do other clubs have?

We currently have one that is in a pistol case and we get it out of our storage shed for use.

A system that is quite popular at clubs around central Florida is pictured. Simple to make from PVC pipe, Ts, and aluminum tube, and aluminum angle to clip the pipes to as they are rotated up and held with the individuals frequency pin. Numers are from stick on numbers available at places like Office Depot.

We have one that a club member built out of wood and the front cover folds down to reveal the board with clothes pin frequency tags listed with each channel and a place to slide your club card in. I don't have a pic right now but next time I am out there I will take a pick for you. It can be loacked as well so non-members can't play with it or vandals destroy it.
It is approximately 36" x 36" x 4" deep.

I did a search just in the CLUBHOUSE section and found some ideas too.

Thought I saw a magizine article where a company has a ready made aluminum enclosed FREQ BOARD.

This would be ideal, however I do like the ideas suggeted already........keep posting.

Pictures (if availible) would be great.

At our club we have a 8"x36" piece of aluminum with
all the frequency numbers on it. In the same general area
we have some clothes pins. You want a channel , put a pin
on it,when your done take it off. Has worked well for many years.

Simple is best. You can have all the fancy impounds combined
with the freq board but the weakest link in the chain is still the
person.

This probably does not help but it may be a low cost solution till you come up with the high priced approach.

We can't put up any permanent structures so our fequncy pole is made from door/floor molding that costs about $.30 a foot and comes painted white. Then we mark off with a sharpie and write in the numbers. Clothes pins are used to designate channels in use.

A tube is attached to the pole with plumbing strap. We put a headless spike in the ground and slide the pole over it. The same approach could be used by hanging the piece sideways. Total cost about $12.

I like this simple system. Do you find that wasps build nests inside of the PVC tubes? Or, don't wasp like PVC?
