While profiling is not politically correct we all know what we have to do in this regard. You have a middle eastern male between the ages of 16 and 36 suddenly appearing at your field and wants training, asks questions about autopilots, range, pay load, things that would never occur to a normal beginner - You know what to do.

You spot a middle eastern male asking out of the beginners category questions in your local hobby shop, again you know what to do, and so should the LHS owner.

Don't think the AMA is going to take care of this - YOU ARE THE AMA in this regard, whether you are a card carrying member or not. When the Feds close down R/C flying they won't ask if you have an AMA card.

Call your local FBI field office. To find your local office, go to http://www.fbi.gov/contact/fo/fo.htm or check inside the front cover of your local phone book. You can also contact the FBI at 1-866-483-5137 or submit a tip on their Web site, http://www.fbi.gov.

Gents, two years ago RCU helped the FBI convict a terrorist. We provided documents and data we collected on the site to do just that. Marc and I are committed to supporting any and all law enforcement efforts in this regard. We appreciate members' vigilence as well. It takes a community to defeat fanatics bent on harming innocent people for their own beliefs.

Do you possibly consider that helping convict a terrorist just may be a major contributing factor to RCU being bought out by about the most liberal media groups that can be found?

That is a strange question considering that between Hearst, MediaNews Group and Lee, you are talking about more than 100 papers ranging from the St. Louis Post Dispatch to the Houston Chronicle. A media group is not liberal or conservative. It's a corporation that owns newspapers, each of which make their own editorial decisions.

Beyond that, why would our aiding the FBI bear at all on the acquisition of RCU? Companies are acquired because they are deemed to be good investments. An act of patriotism (really, just being law abiding) didn't bear one way or the other on the acquisition.

Your post was entertaining, if not mind-boggling.

Michael

Is there any other kind of media groups besides liberal? And it should be one word "liberalmedia".

C'mon guys, not more liberal bashing.

As for other kind of media that aren't liberal take a look at AM talk radio, and FOX "News".

One advantage of freedom is being able to agree or disagree. It helps make it all work.
