Right On, mongo! I also am in favor of modelers that are taking this sport outside the small box that AMA has, under the Lowe and Brown dynasties kept it in.

This sport needs attention to things far outside the current limitations imposed on us like government does daily.

This past Sat. 04/12/08, I attended an AMA Sanctioned RC Fly-In. I saw a number of people that I had not seen for one to three years.
I saw one person that I had not seen for some 12 years. I saw one that I had not seen in some 15 years or about, and for several years back then we were good friends, even though at the time we lived some 1000 miles plus, apart.

In my 7 hours there I never took an airplane out of my truck. (I had 4 from a 20" w/span original .12 powered to a 96" w/span.) I had great pleasure in renewing those old friendships and just BSing with folks I see fairly often, plus a couple new guys that had some new-to-me inovations that I found extremely interesting.

Without AMA I would not have that privilege of being part of those relationships. I will never surrender to one or more individuals that think they could ever take that part of my life away from me.

Don''t let them do it to YOU!

Let us that will support those like Frank T. that has the brass to go against the Muncie grain. It certainly would be nice if the Muncie gang could bring themselves to join in the real party!

Ooohhh Yeah, now we are talking giant scale, I agree, about time someone breaks the imposed limits and pushes the boundries of what we have been limited to. I'm attaching the original brochure so people know what we are talking about. I hope this catches on, it should introduce the public to the fact, these are not just toy planes, it's a serious hobby/sport.

Frank Tiano has this covered as he does all of his special events.
