That sure is a large area, that concerns me and it should concern any modeler. Evidently they feel models are a threat so here we go.

Isn't that about the same restrictions put in place for the Republican and Democratic conventions?

A TFR of 30 miles around something isn't unusal. They did it during the Super Bowl here and that was 3 or 4 years ago, its nothing new.

I'm not sure I see the connection between terroists and Ballons

Terrorists have birthdays too. Just not as many.

Come on Kid, don't you remember F Troop? "It is baloooon!!!!"

Oh they do it all the time. Last time Bush was here in Latrobe PA, they shut down the whole area even for a couple of days before he arrived.

I had the pleasure(?) of meeting one of the meanest looking Apache helis up close and personal while flying one of my birds, 12 + miles from the airport where B was flying into.

Found out the next day the SS was scouting out alternate routes out of the area, and my fly zone was in their fly zone that day.

I was just saying that it's not cause for concern that the black Suburbans are taking over. Every TFR for things like this is a 30 mile radius, I'm not trying to prove how smart I am. (Someone PM'd me the original post before you edited it )

So what is the suprise in this. just like anything else they restrict air space when big events happen. next big news break is going to be that they close the roads down when the president or dignitaries come through. Come on Hoss I thought you were supposably smarter than that. When airspace is restricted it is restricted for everything. NOT A BIG SUPRISE.

Andy-Well I really have nothing to hide and do not fear your moderator status-if you would like to discuss controlled airspace with me-"come on in the water is fine" but you will need to well versed-that is all my point is about.-and as far as what I posted-it stands on it's own merit-have a great day ............................

Well, now just where did I make any comment on the subject item? I simply brought the item to RCU from the AMA Web site to a couple RCU Forums?

Come on, MR. GENIUS, answer the question! I simply supplied some previously posted information for the readers. I did highlight certain points just to make those main points easier to notice.

Maybe a review of 3rd grade Reading 101 would assist you in absorbing written communications.

My point has been made again. He (Hoss) can't talk to anyone in a civil manner when they challenge him. He tries to belittle them. WOW and people have actually voted for him. Amazing. Just one more incident to verify why I didn't vote for him. Not even worth commenting on anymore. He is a wait of time.

When a simple simon, unable to comprehend the most simple message responds with "Come on Hoss I thought you were supposably smarter than that." I don't care to try for any endearment.

Ok, this has gone on long enough. Let's all learn how to get along and quit insulting each other. I have been a little bit lenient about communications here during the election cycle as I didn't want to get between candidates and the AMA membership. Now that the election voting has closed that leniency is gone. It's time to go back to the rules here on RCU. That means it's time to start getting along, quit insulting each other, and behave here in these forums. These attacks against each other need to end now. Any further posts such as this will be removed.

Thanks for your cooperation here guys.

Thank you for NOT voting for me. Now I don't feel as if I should owe you something. [>:]

BTW, what is a "....wait of time?" I was always told that time waits for no one.

Sounds good, Ken. Fair-handed moderating could be useful in this forum. What do you think about moderating off-topic crud like [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7821713/anchors_8151575/mpage_12/anchor/tm.htm#]THIS[/link]?

I'm not sure I see the connection between terroists and Ballons
During WWII bomb loaded ballons were launched from Japan and landed in the USA killing at least one person.
Now you know.

Warningshot, what you say is very true. I just seen it the other day on The Military Channel.
