Yep, that's right! The AMA has certainly become much better over the last few years. Have you noticed? No doubt some things will always need improvement but overall AMA is headed in a better direction now. Model Aviation's Sport Aviator is personal favorite that seems to be focused on a genuine goal to help educate the general hobbyist population. Also Dave M. seems to be really in tune with what is going on with today's enthusiasts. I hope this trend continues.

I just got the junk mail how do you make them stop sending it. I pay enough for them to be my 2nd insurance don't want the magazine or the junk mail cd's dvd's

You can go to AMA website and check the box to not send junk mail. I think the check boxes are also on the renewal,but not sure. I received the first CD but checked boxes and nerver received anymore junk mail. I do receive E-mail but I wanted to receive it.
I like Sport Aviator. I like DM's blog and hope he uses it more.

Even though DM was not my choice for pres,
but I will commend him on his open communications with the members.

I have looked at Sport Aviator from time to time, Except for the plane reviews, most of the articles are pretty old.

I am surprised to hear they are still sending out the CDs as junk mailers? I thought that had stopped.
