AMA Forum Regulars. Where are they now?
Bob Mitchell used to be a regular poster here on RCU. What happened to him? Is he OK?
Anyone know?
Thanks,
Frank

Maybe you could start with a Banned list from RCKen,
to skip over some of the many names you dont see around here anymore.
Know who else aint posting... that Red guy.
And has anyone seen MarkSmith post anything since the election?
... and some guys just post once in a while, like Glacier and Jug

Bob and STL were banned? How about those apples. I never thought Bob M would be banned. I wonder what drove him over the edge?

Bob Mitchell is still an active user account. His profile can be found here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/profile.cfm?memid=412229§ion=profile&forum=1
It shows that Bob has been active fairly recently:
It would just appear that he hasn't posted in here is all that's going on.
STLpilot is no longer a member of RCUniverse.com

"some of the many names"
I have no idea where Bob is,
but If I was going to bet on it, I'd wager Bob was NOT banned
edit:
Oh... looks like we got the answer while I was typing

Thanks Ken. Glad to hear Bob is still doing OK ( we can assume) and that he just doesn't want to visit with us anymore.

RE: AMA Forum Regulars. Where are they now?
I truly miss JR. I bet some of the more senior forum members will find that hard to believe if they remember the "old days".
We argued...err…debated here constantly but behind the scenes exchanged very friendly emails. I learned a lot from JR since he was one the most knowledgeable here about the AMA. I learned that even though people can disagree on some...err...many points it is possible to be friends and have respect for one another. I am sure there were days he wanted to shoot me but invariably it brought him to task to offer something up more than just sound-good fell-good fluff that is all to often the case here.
As a man comes closer to realizing his mortality the more open he his to sharing...I think that was the case with JR as he shared a lot with me in the end game. I will never forget him or the lessons he taught me.

Why would he. He completed his assigned mission last year.

Good point Hoss... Wasn't his brief insertion [[8D]] here predicted by someone?

Just in case you don’t know, "Bottom Feeder" is just an antonymic term of endearment coined in the Model Aviation mag by the upper echelon for those of less importance than the self important that write Model Aviation mag. Red has a regular column there so he is qualified to call us bottom feeders.

I'm doing quite well, thank you. Haven't been posting much but still actively involved. Other things just have been taking much of my time. New motorcycle and getting established with a couple of local riding clubs, training night every week, impending loss of job and job hunting, and other activities of daily living.

I wasn't too sure about JR and thought it was true. Good riddance to the few listed that are gone, there are a few more I'd like to see disappear personally. I miss Flyboydave, RazorRCU, and mostly Chuck Auger. I think Ballgunner has embarked on the big flight too, he was up there in years. Dicknadine is another one who is pretty scarce since Katrina wiped his shop off the map. BasinBum is also one who has cut down on his posting over the last few years but was always fun to read.

On the bright side.......The weather may still be warm enough to allow me to head out on a 5-6 day road trip on the motorcycle. In any event I'll be fine. This is just a minor blip in the scheme of things. I've got too much else in my life that is good to let it really get me down.

Bob-
Take some time off, go for that ride, see some family in other states.
Treat it like an opportunity to do the things you cant while working
