Hmmm...I would rather understand why people can't figure what's safe without reading manuals....I guess people "need" someone or some organization to show them. walla walla bing bang...whoosh...AMA.
Isn't it sad that we live in such a world now that people "need" guys like you to tell them right from wrong??? But of course those that say we need such oversight really believes it's just everyone else that "needs" the oversight...not themselves... Self righteous nit-wits galore... Truly strange, my mother taught me right from wrong I guess there seems to have been a slip up. Although, some people are born with defective brains. |

Perhaps you fail to understand my point. While the manual does seem to say a lot about safe operation, it lack specificity. It says that it can be flown at altitudes up to 8,000 feet. It does not say that if you actually fly it that high that you are entering into the operational airspace of full scale aircraft. There is no real guidance about how to select a safe place to fly the toy. It talks about common sense. I will tell you that there is noting in common seance that can be relied on. The real problem is, that anyone who buys this product will most likely not read the manual, unless they need technical help and then they will go directly to that page, ignoring all safety instructions. The real problem is, that without a safety culture built into the product directions there is a guarantee that something bad will happen eventually. And, we are already seeing these things happen.
Everybody thinks the AMA will save us, they will not, nor the FAA. If you personally violate flight Safety Rules as posted, get a Lawyer, you will need one! Let me explain to LCS:" without Safety Culture built into a product, there is a guarantee that something Bad will happen eventually. It's happening right before our eyes. Quoted by John She, I agree 100%. I don't have all the answers, and yes I make mistakes, many times, not just with this hobby but in Life in General, but just once, I learn something from that, and do not make the same mistake twice. Nobody knows everything, and everybody should learn from their mistakes. |

In order to contact your hobby shop you first have to define what is a drone.

By definition, a drone is any remote controlled or self-controlled unmanned aircraft. Every flying machine in the hobby store is a drone. That would include, kit, ARF and RTF versions of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft both scale and non-scale. All drones fall within the jurisdiction of public law 112-95.

|
No and don't think I will. I'm not a big fan of the Mobius,(not too keen on it's CMOS)
|
So now when you take a walk you will have a drone following you as well as everybody else!

http://news.yahoo.com/drone-buzzes-s...--finance.html "It is time to require background checks of both private and commercial sale, we also need an registration for all drone. Owners should be required to take classes and get permits before they are allowed to own one as well. That'll keep insistent like this from happening." although the font wasn't as usual the wording is very familiar LOL |

HD: I understand the frustration. OH Well? we will continue maybe. Apparently other people don't see the Tsuami in front of them??? |
probably because it's a figment of their imagination, like a thing that goes bump in the night, or Bigfoot, or a "quick" visit to a DMV.
Bet the same thing was said of nitro, then gas, then ARF, then foamies, then heli's. Some people just can't deal with change. |
