How old to join the AMA?
 

How old do you have to be to join the AMA. I am 12. am I too young. if so young=makes me mad.

It is a dollar a year for you to join. If you get to where you pay full price and you are going to fly your whole life, I would highly suggest a life time membership. I started at your age before they had the $1 fee and if I would have done the life membership, it would have payed for itself many times over!

You can join as a Junior Member for $1.00, up to the age of 15 years old. There seems to be no minimum age.

Basically, you can join at any age.

My 2 kids, age 9 and 10 ARE AMA junior members.
