How old to join the AMA?

My Feedback: (11)
It is a dollar a year for you to join. If you get to where you pay full price and you are going to fly your whole life, I would highly suggest a life time membership. I started at your age before they had the $1 fee and if I would have done the life membership, it would have payed for itself many times over!

Hello rc12:
Basically, you can join at any age.
Here is the link to [link=http://www.modelaircraft.org/templates/ama/PDF-files/memanual03.pdf]AMA "membership booklet"[/link] where you can learn more about organization.
My 2 kids, age 9 and 10 ARE AMA junior members.
Good luck.
