No games. Figured you might be Dave Brown. Other than that I don't know.

RE: lost field

I decided to do some web searching...

http://www.268skykings.org/
http://www.268skykings.org/lost.htm

Well... its not 100% troll. There really is such a club... (268 may have nothing to do with how many members there are) and they really are losing thier field.

But someone PO'd the landowner for him to have done that... They don't post a notice that they will prosecute you if you haven't done something to make then VERY mad.

And... of course the AMA could have done nothing, because there was apparantly no warning, and the land owner still owns the property and apparantly has the right to say they can't fly there any more.

But it doesn't matter if the AMA could have done anything... or if they were notified... its thier fault anyway.[:'(]
Can't blame it on the bozo that PO'd the landowner... that might be making somene take responsibility for thier actions.

The clearly claim to have 268 members. http://www.268skykings.org/fieldfun.htm

Huber, nice going. Next time do the research first, this is just typical of you. Shoot your mouth off, then find out the facts. You still owe the guy an apology.

They additionally state that the AMA has been contacted, virtually as soon as the field was closed.

How do you know there was a Bozo involved? Unless, of course you are Bozo and were involved.

Apologize!

I looked at the link you posted, and don't see any claim to have 268 members (that would be a HUGE club, no?). I think the NAME is "268 Sky Kings". I sort of doubt they change their domain name every time they get a new member, but maybe I'm missing something that you see.

FWIW, I don't think FHHuber's initial post was out of line (actually quite mild for the AMA forum on RCU), and I don't know who The Troll is either. If tbone's post was a troll (I tend to think so), it was certainly one of the more successful.

RE: lost field

The Sky Kings site says: "AMA is being contacted for assistance in helping us to secure another field" This does not say that they have been contacted already.

So... J_R you are misquoting and misleading others. (and being stupid or purely dishonest... which? Hmm... history check... I vote dishonest.)

J_R, I know you have more class than to engage in a battle of wits with FHH. Besides, you are taking advantange of someone unarmed.

FHH: you dodged it again. How can even you bend:

There I have appologized"

into an apology to anyone, especially tbone?

Look who's being stupid now... I was blatantly insulting J_R because he needed it.

Quoting out of cntext will get you in trouble every time.

The full quote:

J_R:

I'm sorry you are stupid.

There I have appologized
Line 1: "J_R:" This is who I am talking to.

Line 2: "I'm sorry you are stupid." I really am sorry that he is stupid.

Line 3: "There I have appologized" I appologised to the world for the fact that J_R is stupid.

You have managed to prove yourself to need the same apoplogy.

I am sorry you are stupid.

I am glad to see people with the ability to outfly me... Better pilots are safer pilots.

My goal when instructing is to have the student progress faster than me with fewer damaged aircraft. I've has a few "students" become able to outfly me within 6 months or less, and I just love to sit back and watch them fly circles around me.

I KNOW how to make the airplanes and helis do what they are supposed to... my fingers refused to cooperate for YEARS.

One of my more recent trainees was with helis... I helped a guy learn to fly, who is now doing 3D... and I can barely do forward flight. I know my stick skills have problems. They always have. They always will. I simply refuse to give up.

I'm being a jerk to J_R on purpose... he's been a perpetual jerk and needs to be slapped. I've finally seen him give useful advice to a beginner... ONCE in the beginner's forum. 90% of my postings are aids to beginners.... and I continually get e-mails and PM's from beginners thanking me for making it EASY for them to succeed.

I kind of expect that J_R just gets hate-mail.

*********

So bring that 3D plane on out and strut your stuff. I'll be glad to watch... I might even try to help you improve a maneuver or two... but I won't be able to actually do the maneuvers. (because my fingers still won't let me do 3D... but I did come in respectably in my first Pattern competition recently... FINALLY! :D)

At least I can do long division without pulling out a pocket calculator or a table. (unlike any troll, who will get the answer wrong even with a calculator.)

I resent that. To the very best of my recollection, I have NEVER posted in the beginner's forum. Anyone doubting that is welcome to check the last 100 of my posts by clicking on my profile or doing a full seach of my postings.

You certainly do gots them there limitations huber. You can't get nothin straight.

It's impossible to believe that you get ANY e-mails on RCU. You have e-mail hidden, as many of use do, but, once again your line of BS shows through.

I'll just post one that is fairly typical, and which I'm certain the other guy won't mind being posted.

when they have questions that require more detail... I start using e-mail. I keep my e-mail addy hid for one reason only... the stupid spammers and thier e-mail addy gathering systems.

Unlike some others... I don't hide behind some made up username. I don't hide behind some fake avitar pic. The pic is me and the username is my name. AND my e-mail address has the same username before the @.

I did use a pun-username for a while on a couple of boards... but even then I let people know who I was.

Abel, it looks to me like some pigs sing quite well.

huber has managed to apologize to me twice in this thread, yet resists apologizing to the thread starter, whom he really does owe an apology to. Why do you suppose?
