I was trying to find out how many AMA flying fields their was in the US? :)

There is only one AMA flying field. That is Muncie, IN.
All others are privately owned, local landowners, cities, counties, parks, etc. :) "I was trying to find out ..." What did you find out when you WERE trying ....? :D |

If you contact the Membership Department, you can purchase a mailing list of all the Chartered Clubs. Costs about 90 yankee dollars, or it did a couple years ago. Then you can contact each club and ask each club just how many fields each club has. Nuttin' to it! [sm=47_47.gif] |

Open Google Earth and go to this real cool link. Based on my knowledge of fields around here, it seems to be pretty accurate.
