Default Engine selection

I have 2 arfs that I am finishing up at this time and I am trying to decide which engines to put in these for the best results. First of all I live at around 6000 ft. altitude. Second we fly off of a paved runway and grass.
The first plane is a Pacific Aeromodels Gee Bee model Y. It presently has a Zen 26 in it and I am wondering if this will be enough for this aircraft.
The other plane is a Top Flite Beech Staggerwing. I have a couple of engines in my inventory as possibles. An OS 160 2 stroke as in the instruction book and an ftl 45 gasser. What do you think.
Thanks for the help.

Harry
