Santa in the brown truck dropped off a BH Chipmunk ARF for me. It will have a 50cc gas engine (DLE). All my previous planes have been 40-60 size glow. I plane to run 6V system for control surface/throttle servos. Its 85" wingspan and weight is listed as 14 lbs. I've always been a Futaba guy, but am also considering Hi Tec servos. It takes 8. Ailerons 2, flaps 2, elevator 2, rudder 1, throttle 1.
Any suggestions on servos would be appreciated. I want reliable servos that will handle the job, without breaking my wallet, because Santa probably ain't coming back.

Hitec 645s will do the job, but there are more powerful and more accurate servos out there, but unfortunately they are going to cost more. I personally would spend the extra money and find some digital metal gear servos with at least about 150 ounces of torque for the flying surfaces. Futaba has some nice digitals, but they do tend to be pricey.

rcjon,
Be aware that the spline on the Futaba's is different than the
Hitec servos. This means that box full of control arms
you have collected over the years won't work on the Hitecs.
Good Luck,
