I consider this route also since I already own one and planning on repowering. Any info will be most welcome.

Ask me after Christmas.
I pulled the Saito 1.80 off of mine and have a DLE 30 coming. The 1.80 never really gave me the power to weight ratio I was looking for. I plan on running the RX and ignition off of one Lipo to save weight. As it was I had two 1100 nicads on a tray above the engine, so I should be able to get the CG where I want it. Mine is the 72" QQ BTW. Your 73" will have a lighter wing loading but the 2 are close.
