Default Seagull Navion

All,

I am trying to understand the logic of Seagull's recommendation of an engine size of 75 to 91 2-stroke for their new Navion. According to the specs, the plan will max out around 8 1/2 pounds. In my 30 years of modeling heavy scale planes tipping the scale, around 10 to 12 pounds were flying on 60 2-strokes. So, why would a 60 two stroke not fly this plane. It is scale plane, not designed for 3-D, just lazy loops, figure 8's and wingovers.

Default RE: Seagull Navion

I suggest a .60 size 2-stroke or .90 size 4-stroke!
