Nice. I have one of those little fatties that I need to finish up. Will have a Supertigre 90 up front. What was the finished weight on yours?

It's amazing how much drag those streamers will add.

I threw streamers onto one of my 30CC planes and immediately noticed a reduction in speed and power.

However it was a lot of fun and everyone started watching the 3D manouvers.

When one of the streamers fell/cut off, I also noticed a pronounced yaw caused by the remaining streamer.

Hi Cpt Crash, the AUW of the Extra was 3500g which wasn't to bad considering the weight of the RCV91CD.
I attached the 4.8V battery pack to the engine mounts Wrapped in foam of course to balance her at 85mm.
All the best with yours, mines a blast to fly, just a pig to land.

perhaps a dual rate function or expo may help in landing approach

60% expo in already & dual rates, the biggest problem is the tip stall it's very sudden & you can be quite fast if there isn't any breeze to fly into.
The extra drag seems to have tamed it a little but even my OS56 powered one was a handful to land.
This one has more than payed for it;s self as far as flight time fun & enjoyment goes & it has certainly made me a better RC flyer esp in the landing department but if it's not 100% it bites you !!.
