vmar chipmunk or T-34
I have seen the T34 and it's quite a nice plane. Has very gentle handling and flying characteristics. Probably a great second plane or first low wing plane

Steer clear of both!
VMAR have used the wing of their now defunct "Stilleto", on both of these.
The "Stilleto" had to be flown and landed real hot, as it had a habit of dropping a wing without warning, if slowed down too much.
They were sold as a good "2nd model" and many were lost at our field in the early days until people worked them out.
They were really only for the more advanced flyer and not a good "2nd model" at all.
The Chipmunk especially has a tendancy to do much the same.
The 2 are also weak around the u/c mounting blocks in the wings.
The T34 has a little more dihedral and is a little more placid, but if you really want a good flying VMAR, get the PC9 (or Texan 2 in USAF colours.)
This particular model is far sweeter to fly than either the Chipmunk or the T34.
Or wait until their new "Jodel" semi scale is released in North America.
This one is a very pretty model and has the new fade proof covering, flaps and a pattern style removable wing (slides on via an aluminium tube out each side of the fuse and the wings are secured with wing nuts.)
It flies really great with a .46.
If you must have a T34, get the World Models T34.

RE: vmar chipmunk or T-34
Had their chipmunk for about 3 years powered with an irvine 40 diesel flew very scale like
also on a grass field never had a gear problem It was lost this year on a radio hit
I was going to replace it but got the RV-4 instead (looks nice but still in the box)
the Jodel is out from Richmond RC here I came close to getting it (the plug in wing is nice)
Also jut got the dornier DO-27 think it will get my MVVS with the diesel head
