Back Flying after 5yrs
Got the itch to fly after retiring. Purchased a used 73'" QQ Yak w/ YS 140. Purchased my servos from servo city, HS-5485 on thro, 2 HS-5665 on Elv, 2 HS-7975 on Ale, 1 HS- 5685 on Rud. I am out of touch as I stated, planning on the new JR 9503 DMX for radio. Unsure on the batteries as they have changed so much, leaning to the A123.
How does this all look ? Any suggestions?

RE: Back Flying after 5yrs
Welcome back!
If it was me I'd upgrade all the servos to a 59XX or 79XX. Those are much more precise and you'll have better servos if you move up sometime. I use A123 batteries exclusively now. Very nice...that is what I'd recommend.
That radio would be a good choice.
The QQ Yaks are some of the best flying airplanes. You'll love it...and the YS 140 will power it great. That would also be a great plane for the new 30CC gas engines like the DLE, it you ever decide to get away from glow.
You'll like this set up.
Thanks
Barry
