Need some help , i have a JETT 56LX engine with about 4 flights to it , after every flight the glow plug is fouled, used several types of plugs OS#10(cold), ENYA #3, original that came with the engine, ALSO A ROSSI GLOW plug.
I am using 5% nitro fuel, tried two brands, with no success, the engine is running fine doesn't seem to overheat, but after every flight when ideling for landing the engine will cut ,or when restarting the engine later, the plug is fouled.
Does any one have an idea ??
Could adding an extra head shim to lower the compression help ?
Thanks

Just a few suggestions here before you DETUNE an American made PERFORMANCE engine. First I'd E-Mail my question to [email protected]or better yet, call them. An old nitro guy told me once that "The RIGHT glow plug for YOUR ENGINE is the one that WORKS". My opiniom is that reducing compression would take you in the wrong direction. I'm not really familiar with your particular engine and I don't see it listed on thier web page. If JETT can't help with recomendations for FUEL or a GLOWPLUG, TRY 10% NITRO with the OEM recomended OILMIX!!! IF your engine takes a LONGTHREADPLUG, try an OS TYPEF. (NO idle bar)
