I think the wingspan is actually 94". The smallest engine I would use is a .90 four-stroke according to their recommendations. However, I personally would use a Saito FA-100 or Saito FA-125a four-stroke if you wanted to stay in the methanol engine category or a DLE-20 in the gas engine category.

A friend had an O.S. .70 four stroke on his...
It flew well...no great performer as far as rate of climb is concerned, but adequite.

I've flown a "46-sized" Monster Power electric in mine for a season, performed just fine, swinging a 12x8....that's right in the range of a .60-.70 sized 4-stroke.

I'm sure that the Senior Telemaster would fly using a .52 four-stroke engine, but the takeoff roll might be mighty long. Let us know what you decide and how it flies. I might even try a .40 sized glow four-stroke, just for hoots.

Hmm, nice calm afternoon, 52 four stroke putting along. Otherwise with some wind and gusts, I'd have to go with something a tad larger. And you have to ask yourself, how much nose weight do I need to balance out this plane?

ive flown my dad's tele (8ft) on a os 61 SF with a 13x6 prop, and also have flown it with a 91 magnum 4 stroke with 15x6 prop and it was sufficient..... you could even use a DLE20 if you wanna go gas
