Hi Everyone!
Just came into an ARF aircraft that is not finished and I suspect, some of the parts aren't there. I need to know what ARF kit this is, so I can beg borrow or steal an instruction manual from someone.
I apologize for the poor picture, but I only have a cheap digital camera at the moment. This is a 40 size trainer ARF, with a 63 inch wingspan. The wing has been damaged so is not included in the picture, but I was hoping that someone could recognize the color scheme or the striping and tell me what this aircraft is. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

The plane looks like a Goldberg Eagle.
The Eagle's have a 63" span. The Goldberg Eagle, Eagle 2, Eagle 2 ARF and Eaglet 50 are the only trainers that I know of that have the clear windows.
The only ARF version I have seen is blue and white. Are you sure it's an ARF or did someone build it and sell it as an ARF after they wrecked it?
In any case any flat bottom wing with the same cord and 60" to 70" span will work on the fuse.

It looks like a Skyward 40 ARF. I have one sitting in the workshop with a split fuselage. I got it off a kid that built(first kit) and didn't glue everything
. I had some good flights with it and then the fuse exploded near the ground.
Anyway the scheme is red, thin red, black and the wing is 63 ". I have a wing in reasonable shape.
It is similar to an Eagle but smaller in chord and fuse size and weight.
Here's an example electrified?!:

I can't confirm this but it is manufactured by Skyward R&D 40 and 25 size). The Canadian government went through a period where there were huge R&D grants available and everyone climbed aboard. I was even doing system development and maintenance for an oil company which qualified for a large grant
. I believe this may have been originally developed on that program!!
Oops! You're a fellow Canuck. Down with Softwood lumber tariffs!!

4*60,
Thanks for your reply. This is definitely the one! Amazing what the internet will do for you!
As I stated in my first post, I am trying to locate the instruction manual that goes with this ARF. Would you possibly have the manual available? This ARF has never been assembled, and I believe some of the parts are missing. If you have the manual I would appreciate a copy of it if possible. Thanks in advance.

yeah its definately a Skyward 40 ARF
i just purchased a NIB skyward 40 kit, , I have the plans and the manual still, as plane is now built, these kits were made in Montreal Canada by the Skyward Research & Development
Laboratory Montreal Quebec Circa 1993 (for mine)
I believe the Company is Defunct now Pic on Manual
shows the ARF scheme Wing is white with red wing tips, (trying to judge from B&W photo on it,
my kit came with red wing tips,
Best Regards Tony!!!!

Your photo caught my eye and I have a different opinion. The photo looks like an ARF called a "Condor". They made a 40, 60 and 120 size. I believe the company was called SF industries and a import from China. I bought the 60 size version which was an excellent flying airplane. What caught my eye was the paint scheme. It looked like the trim on the full size Cessna 172's from the 70's.
