So back in the old days when everything ran on FM radio waves, I used my buddy cord to connect to another one of my FM radios as I'm sure all of you have, and I've come to a breaking point of what to do.
So one of the kids I'm training now shows up with the latest technology and puts me to shame with a spectrum 2.4GHz radio with wireless training. The radio he is running is a Tactic TTX404-4ch ( http://www.tacticrc.com/tacj2404.html ) and I'm running all 10 of my Futaba FM radios and do not want to buy a spectrum just to train him.
So does anyone know of a conversion for this? Futaba has it out, but not sure if it will work with the Tactic Radio: http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...rticle_id=1203
Thanks in advance!

My Feedback: (4)
No, that won't work with the Tactic, however, Tactic has a built-in wireless buddy box, so for about $160, you can get 2 tactic 4-channel radios and use the wireless buddy box.
Also, Tactic just came out with a 6-channel radio for $99
I used the wireless buddy box with two of the 4-channel models in this video:
