Am putting together this plane and thinks its a really nice looking plane except for the high gloss appearence. Can anything be done about this? Could it be lightly sanded and sprayed with a flat clear to dull it down. Was thinking about painting it, but thats gonna be more involved than I want to deal with now. Any ideas?

OO steel wool does a nice job of dulling the gloss over moneycoat.

Thanks, Mike. Should I use a flat clear coat, or is that gonna shine it up again even though it is flat coat. Would that help seal the decals?
