Default General ESM Question

I am looking at the C-47 they sell, but the wing is very long and glued into one piece. Has any one modified this or any of their planes to keep the wing in sections for transportation?

In looking at the pictures of the kit the wing is in thre sections and the two outer sections have wood spars that are glued in. The only idea I have is to try and make those carbon fiber and screw the out sections to the spare.

Ideas?

Csandt051196,

The ESM kits I've seen are very light weight. Therefore there may not be enough structural wood in the wings to allow you to modify them without doing MAJOR surgery to the wing.
