Default DP Extra or Edge ??

Does anyone know what the difference in the flying characteristics of the DP Extra and his Edge. I have a DP Extra and like it so much I might get another (you never know) but maybe the Edge is a better choice. BTW I will be powering with glow no gas if it matters. TIA

Default DP Extra or Edge ??

comparing my DP extra to my AW Edge i would say that the edge is hard to stall compared to the Extra, the edge is more at home with the 3d work. the extra is stong at imac moves and knife edge.

Default Edge

I have the Dp edge..Best i can say is get it..It is built better then his extra. He learned some lessons from his extra and did the improvements to the edge. It is a great flying plane. Mine came in at 12.5 lbs w/ os 160..Lovin it. the wing loading is in the low 20s..

Default DP Extra or Edge ??

Never tried the Edge. I did buy version 3 and it came in at 15 lbs. with the DA50. All servos mounted in recommended location (6) and balanced at 5 3/4". He made a lot of improvements to the extra. This is my third extra. First one I sold to a friend and he is still flying it. Second one I wiped out the lading gear. The third one comes in about 1 lbs. lighter then the previous version.

I'm sure the Edge is just as good.

Good luck.
