Looking for some feed back from anyone with expereince with this ARF. I've always liked the Dauntless and am thinking about perchasing one. I've read a couple of post commenting on an incorrect CG location per the plane and an artical in Model Aviation which says it's right on. Anybody have first hand expierience with this ARF.
Thanks,
Rich

I've been lookin at this same model...... The only thing that really keeps me from buying one is the fact that these seem to be the same as the old KMP (CMP) and I HAVE put together a few of those before..... Just one mans opinion.

Don't know specifically about the Dauntless, but I have built 2 kmp(esm) kits and they are a little funky to build. The manuals are vague and some of the hardware is suspect. You may need a fair amount of building experience. I call them "builder's ARFs". They do have beautiful finishes, but usually high wing loadings. I will say that Troybuilt Models is a great company with wonderful customer service, and will help you with any questions you have, including CG placement. Warbirds are a different breed of cat, so if in doubt, go with a more forward CG.
Hope this helps.
