Default best engine for 1/4 scale clipped wing cub

world models cub - clipped wing - red/white coming from my wife for christmas!
this is no. 2 for this airframe.
first one was yellow/blk ltning bolt
first one had os 108.
cannot decide between os 95, os 120, os gt33.
not nuts about four strokes
gas would be new
old school still need an engine so no electric either
also, wife has challenged me to fly it on new years day!
isn't instant gratification great!

There is a trend toward gas for planes that size. The trend is fueled (grin) by the price comparison of fuel, ease of clean up, and availability of reliable small gas engines that are easy to start and operate.

On the other side of the fence is four stroke glow... quieter and better sounding.

I would go gas without the tiniest bit of hesitation. How big? What are you looking for from it? Hovering? Scale performance?

I'll also agree with gas - especially if you plan to fly in cold weather!

Wow, now that's a real Christmas gift. Would love to have your wife have a chat with my wife
