Hi - I have a H9 edge and a Saito 180 - a guy at my feild said he had this combo and he had to add 11 oz of lead to the nose to balance - the Moki 1.80 is 10 oz heavier and more power than the Saito, Should I get that motor instead? Is the guy at my feild right? any body used the Saito and balanced OK? I hate to try and sell the saito if it will work OK, thanks in advance...

My H9 Edge 540 and Saito 180 combo balanced out fine, no lead.
I put my battery pack (a 1400 mah H9) in the nose of the plane just as described in the manual.
I have seen some guys move the elevator and rudder servos from the stock location and mount them outside the fuse closer to the rudder and elevator to eliminate the long pushrods. This puts a lot more weight in the tail, maybe this guy has done the same thing.

My edge has a YS 140L, elevator servos in rear with pull pull for rudder. ill have to check CG again, but was either smack in middle or just a bit forward of that.
saito 'should be' fine. just depends on how the plane was built, wood etc.
