MI,
I am building a Goldberg Tiger 2 ARF. I understand that the wing bolt down blocks can break/separate causing wings to come off! What is the best way to modifiy this design? I don't want my new plane/wings to separate midair!!

I'm not too familiar with the CG Tiger but with most planes, the way to reinforce the wing mounting blocks is by cutting a piece of triangular stock (hard balsa) and epoxy into the corners where the blocks meet the fuselage.
Use 30 min epoxy and make sure you have a snug fit.
Hope this helps

After having a Skytiger (Tiger II father) for many years and tearing off the wing due to tall grass, cowpies, and toad stools, I knew that 4-40 bolt/lite ply set up on my Tiger II Arf was not going to make it the first time at the grass field. You need nylon so that the bolts break away without tearing up the wing.
I cut my wing mount out completely. Then I took two 1"x1"x1/2" spruce blocks and screwed then into the side of the fuselage. Tap out holes for Nylon wing bolts, then you have it made.
I have no idea why these ARF kits design such dumpy wing mount bolt mounts. I just finished a Kaos with the same guaranteed to fail setup.
