I don't have the arf but I have three that I built from kits and would advise you to handle the wings very carefully as the sheeting is very soft. Make sure you beef up the area where the landing gear mounts, drill the gear out and take the blind nuts out then tap the holes for 1/4x20 plastic bolts, this will save you a bunch of repair time on a rough landing. Also replace the plastic pushrods with 440 rods, this might save the plane. Make sure you use the flying wires they add a lot to the strength of the tail. Keep it as light as possible and if you have never flown an S.E. before go with the low rates and maybe for the first couple of flights set the rates a bit lower than they recommend till you fly it a couple of times, the S.E. is very responsive to elevator. Other than that the S.E. is one of the best sport/fun-fly planes out there and will teach you a lot. If you have a computer radio turn on the 2-6 mix and couple the ailerons with the elevator, you can land the S.E. slower than you can walk with the 2-6 on. Also the c/g is very Conservative and if you have a problem getting to their numbers don't be too concerned you can go quite a bit back with c.g. before it gets too squirrelly. Have fun they are a blast to fly.

I'm starting to build mine today, an inverted spin took my Morris Top Cap and turned it into a box of toothpicks Friday! I got dumb thumbs too close to the ground... Now I have an excuse to build the SE!
