Default model celection for os 120ax

hi,
ive got a os 120ax 2 stroke sitting with me at home. and my local dealer has 2 sizes of the sbach and i dont know which one to take-
1) gold wing sbach 300 30 cc
2) sbach 30020cc.
i was doing some research and found that the engine gives 15 to 16 lbs with a 16*6 prop.....any idea what static thrust she would give with a 18*6 prop ??? the 30cc sized modelhas a all up weight of 11 to 12 lbs.
do youll think the engine is correct sized for the 30cc model if i want to do only 3d flying ??

As a very loose comparison a 20cc gasser is about the equivalent of a 1.20 four stroke engine in terms of power. Your 2 stroke 1.20 AX is about the equivalent of a 1.40-1.80 four stroker ( depending upon engine being compared ).

So a 20cc might be a good match to the 1.20AX is you bring the batteries, etc. forward to compensate for the light engine.
