Has anyone side mounted the engine on a razor? I have 2 choices for powering this plane a OS 55 AX a OS 70 four stroke I am just not wild about the inverted mounting I am going to take a closer look at this plane this weekend.

I won't beat around the bush I don't have that model, but can speak of models in general. Why would it be an issue to side mount it?

Honestly aside from cutting the cowl to fit and aligning your centerline it should be a pretty basic mod. You will definetly eliminate any engine problems from flooding and running rich.

Hopefully someone will respond with the same model to explain how they did it, but rest assured it should be really straight forward.
