Extra 260 H9 27% servo issues
has anyone used the JR DS 8231 servo for the ailerons and elevators on the extra 260 27% before.
when i finished the build on this plane, i used the exact recommendations from the H9 instruciton manual. i used the JR 8231 (4 total) for the ailerons and elevators. i used the 8411 for the rudder, and standard servo for throttle.
when i took off, i had all settings on low rates.
this was my maiden flight this past sunday.
let me know what you think.
wind was from south at 9 to 10 MPH.

RE: Extra 260 H9 27% servo issues
surprisingly that servo is listed in the manual and no mention of metal gears for a gasser..quite misleading for someone newer to the hobby.
Get MG gears, analog or digital

RE: Extra 260 H9 27% servo issues
That was a nice gesture, its hard to get coverage in most cases.
Anyway, good luck, re harden the servo mounts and seal the gaps and slow down a bit
