mailman just delivered a new ultimate bipe and they recomend a 20cc, the plane spec's say flying weight 9.25 pounds. I fly a valleyview yak profile that is around 6-7 pounds and is perfect with the 20cc with unlimited vertical.I am thinking a dle 30 on the bipewould make it a blast! any thought's? Its kind of in the middle but I am a dle 30 guy.
All of the review's have a 120 4 stroke with unlimited vertical but the dle 30 is only a couple ounces heavier. The only problem could be prop clearance.
And yes, I would like it to hover.
any thoughts?

It should be a good match.
I was thinking about a 26cc myself on a new plane, but the DLE 30 with a pitts muffler would be very good.
Hint: Clear Coat the covering.

Problem is you have a good chance of getting a airplane that needs parts because of cracks or damaged and it is next too impossible to get replacement parts from Nitro Planes. Or they never have what you want in stock !

Thanks but no, mine were just fine, and I asked for and received a spare canopy and cowl too.

hi captainjohn, was wondering what your suggestion for a engine on a nitroplanes big f-86, calls for a 140 4stroke, hate 4strokes, wanna go 2stroke, also have the superfalcon 120 by nitroplanes, its a pusher, seems everybody on the planet is putting turbines in everything, thats cool if your rich, any help would be appreciated

I would recomend a Thunder Tiger 1.20 ....it is a well built engine and runs strong. Below is a link to the airplane your looking at I think.
