I am picking up a Magic tomorrow. What batt configuration, flat pack or square are people using? I was also going to use a TT 46 Pro. Any other tips, suggestions?? Thanks

Michael

I've heard of people using both ways. The square packs I've seen were mounted in a hatch cut in the bottom of the fus'. I have a flat pack mounted on rails above the servos. That way I could adjust the CG by sliding the pack back and forth.

FYI, with the OS 46FX, I had to add tail weight to mine. Not sure how it compares to the TT, though.

Default Magic Batt Pak

The best trick is to get a 720 mAH AAA NiMH battery pack either square or flat. It will fit almost anywhere and is much lighter than a double A pack.
