For those who desire a fairly large scale plane, this is no competition for the GP Lancair. As shown in the advertisement, the Glass Air is a small model (about 60" ). It may be a good SMALL model but it is NO COMPETITION for the GP Lancair.
Have fun with this plane but if you fly the GP Lancair and like large planes, there will be no question about which model to choose from.

All I am saying is there is finally a company that is making Experimental Homebuilts.
I am going to test fly a Lancair this morning, so I will let you know if it is really worth it.

I think this was the same company that was displaying its line-up at Oshkosh in one of the vendor hangars. Lots of plastic looking material in the fuselages. I wondered about the weight of each model once fully ready to fly. They were nice looking (all white) but I had my doubts.

Their Velocity kit looks very nice. They should try to make some of the "larger" homebuilts, more of the Velocity and Lancair type planes instead of those taildraggers. I think that velocity is going to be my next plane, its coming out around the time that I'll have some money.

Thanks for the link. Looks like these guys have a good selection of nice models!!!
But, I have to agree Lancair is in the different league.
Have a good flying!
