Default ESM sbd dauntless - which engine?

I'm trying to decide what engine to power this with. I have available 3 engines. DLE 20cc gas. RCG 30cc gas and Saito 180. Has anyone flown one of these with the DLE 20? I'm wondering if that would be enough power? Regarding the RCG 30cc - it looks like that would require a lot of hacking to get it to fit. This motor might be easier if I put a dle 30 muffler on it. The dimensions are the same as the dle, but the rcg muffler is a large cannister type. I think the Saito would fit (with 90 degree muffler adapter). If anyone has installed a dle 30 I would love to see some oics of the install. For those who are not familiar with this plane it's the 71" from Troybuilt. Probably gonna weigh in at about 16lbs. Again any pics of gas motor install would be appreciated. Thanks

Default RE: ESM sbd dauntless - which engine?

Hi Mike,

If it is the 120 size I had one for a few years and sold her on. Had a SC160 twin she flew great no problems with her at all.

Cheers
