The [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=164]Midwest Aerobat[/link] review is now available in the online [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine]RCU Magazine[/link].
"The Perfect Second Airplane" - That is how Midwest touts The Aerobat, their new intermediate trainer. The Aerobat is similar to their popular trainer, The Aero-Star 40, but it sports a semi-symmetrical wing, less dihedral, and larger ailerons.

I find it interesting that every review is just outstanding.
Reminds me of Model Airplane News and RCM reviews.
Nice pictures though.

You obviously haven't read many RCM reviews recently. I'm amazed that some of them get published.
I think we all agree that any review that says "No problems found" is a waste of space, or worse, free advertising. But you know, most of todays new kits/ARFs are really very good.

Great review Mike, thanks a bunch! I see from the advertisements that the plane can be set up as a taildragger. The downside to this is that they say to use a castoring tailwheel rather than a steerable tailwheel. Looking at the plane, I am wondering how to make the tailwheel steerable....?

Yep another stunning review, All I know is I NEVER got a kit as nice as any of the reviewed kit, One day I'd like the order the reviewers special so I can have a GREAT kit out of the box.
