Default UltraStick 40 mods

Ok this is a sweet plane no questions about it but it needs some work. My US40 is kinda of an ultra weedwacker, 13x6 prop on it. Im takeing the sugestions of folks here and getting some dubro gear, and 3.5 inc wheels. However I was really sick of breaking props so I shortend my tailwheel so it almost touches the fuse. My question for anyone out there is; in grass or uneven ground do i=I run a risk of stripping my elevator since the elevator control serface is so close to the ground. It drags a bit in the grass because the tailwheel is so short. I did this to get some more room under the prop.
