Katana fuel servo

Hi
I have a Katana 140 ARF and would like to know if it is OK to use a regular ball bearing servo as a gas servo. It is because the servo is so close to the engine, attached to the engine box, that I am afraid vibration can break it with the past of some time. I am not a servo expert and I considering to buy a metallic gears instead.
It is ok as it is now??
Do I over worried??

If this is a gasoline engine all radio gear should be installed at least 12" from the engine, or ignition related componants! Including switches batterys and servos!
However you can use a optical servo extention to isolate the throttle servo in your apication. Contact [link=http://www.aerografixs.com]aerografixs [/link] for optical servo leads.
Or relocate the servo inside the fuse, use non conducting...AKA nyrod...push rods!
