Ditto on the above positive comments!! I currently own about 4-5 different ARFs from Seagull and all built easily, everything fit the first time, and parts in the box were never missing or damaged. All fly very well. I like the 46 size PC-9 (easy build, easy fly) so much I even recommend it to new soloed pilots as their second airplane (as a first non-trainer major ARF build).

Were these experience RC flyers or novices?

I came back to the hobby after a 20 some year layoff. What a change! It all used to be build and fly, now its buy and fly, I can't buy a kit for what I pay for an ARF! Wow!
Since I have come back to the hobby I have put together and flown 3 semi scale "balsa" airframes, A General Hobby Mini-Ventus, A CMP Clipped Wing Cub and a seagull .46 size Spacewalker that I converted to Electric power.
The Ventus was a POS that folded it's wing on the first flight. Soft balsa spars on a too thin wing, mediocre glass work, left thrust built into the motor mount (I changed that), generally a waste of money.
The CMP Cub was a very well designed, well made ARF, some hardware I didn't like but a good flyer that I had a lot of fun with (until the Figure 7 landing, my fault.)
The Seagull Spacewalker I bought with the thought that a glow airframe would be build a little more rugged to take the engine vibration and that's what I wanted. I'm still recovering/relearning/improving my flying skills and I wanted something that would take a few knocks. The Cub was a great plane but it was a big stick and tissue airplane and I felt I wanted something a bit more rugged.
The Seagull's construction was great, just what I was looking for. Some hardware was crap (I hate fittings that set screw to a pushrod but everybody seems to use them, I won't.) Conversion went well and the airplane is a joy to fly. Glass cowl was well made, Pilot figures are too small for the scale of the model, Covering was excellent and colors are available if I need to patch or repair. Great airplane, great flyer, looks good in the air.
All this for $125, what's not to like!
Have you seen their Percival Mew Gull, is that one pretty....

I have been building a Seagull PC-9 .46 and I would recommend Seagull to anyone who asks. The quality is good as are the instructions. I especially like the way the horizonal stabilizer used slots to ensure it was level, this is a big help to someone who doesn't build a model very often. The price was also good. The only problem I found was the fuel tank that came with the ARF did not fit, but that was easily fixed. I don't think many people know about Seagull and that may expalin why your customers have not expressed an interest.

A flyer just completed a Nemesis. Very nice looking plane and I love the paint job/covering. It seems to change color slightly when viewed at different angles.
Flies like it's on rails. Put the telemetry inside and clocked it at 141mph......not too shabby !

Just noticed they now have a Super Chipmunk... 55" WS
Wish it was a bit larger for a 20 CC DLE but the Evolution gasser will work...

My Yak-52 arrived, still deciding what engine to use in it. Leaning towards a RCS 140...

It's amazing a model can sit on the self for a year and no one notices it. Then a couple show up at the field and you can't keep them in stock.
In my opinion, with Seagull models you get a lot of BANG for the BUCK.
