picked up my funtana today, opened the box to check out the pieces,this is one nice looking plane,,,,,, can't wait to start putting it together. i have to finish my p-51 mustang first. i noticed the hinges look a little weak, did everybody use the hinges that come with it or some other kind ? if so what kind? you cant beat the plane for the money,,,,,,, Larry

Larry, Be sure to read some of the old Funtana threads. There are some great tips. I used Great planes CA type hinges. They are a little stronger than the included ones.
If you change only one thing on yours.Put a doubler in the fuse were the wing dowel passes through. later David
