Hi there,
I recently purchased the "Starmax" J3 Piper Cub from Value Hobbies and found the instruction manual to be grossly deficient in details. The build went well, thanks to this forum, but the manual has absolutely no information about setting up; control surface throws, dual rates, or expo. The manual also fails to give any instruction on programing the speed control. I took a look at a similar plane on the "E-flite" site, and was considering using the recommended set-up information for it. The plane is a bit bigger than the 55" inch Starmax by at least 10" in wing span. Do any of you more experienced modelers/pilots have any recommendations that might be helpful? I would sure appreciate some assistance on the set-up of this plane.
Thanks,
Jim
