Did you have to modify the firewall to install GT 22? I am considering either Evo 20gx or OS GT-22 but eventually I would like to get the one requiring least modification.

Here is a thread that covers pretty much everything about Spacewalker II 1.20 from Seagull: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/arf-...i-120-arf.html

And once I purchase it new, the Hanger 9 Christen Eagle will be getting a Saito 125 four stroke.

I am sure that this will keep me busy, for most of the winter.
Winter has not worked out as planned. I purchased the Hangar 9 Christen Eagle II and spent most of my time assembling and correcting what was wrong with it. I even started another thread stating that I after this Christen Eagle, I will no longer be purchasing any Hangar 9 ARF's. I have never before seen such poor quality in an ARF and its hardware. I am sure that if I did not have many years of building experience under my belt and if I were somebody else, that the Eagle would have been given up on and even ended up in the trash. Just a small example of what I am talking about were canopy hatch latches, that did not line up, did not latch and bent when attempted to be latched. Also, in the fuselage, blind nuts that hold the wings in place installed by the factory, that had NO threads. Way down in the bottom of the fuselage and if you did not have the patience or tools to replace them, then somebody else would have given up. Numerous other gripes, to many to go into !

My Seagull SpaceWalker II is still sitting in the box, right next to the still boxed OS GT 22. My Revolver 70 is still in the box.

After a winter of total frustration on the Eagle, what I have decided to do is go back to the basics and that is build my own models, again ! At least that way I will know that it is built correctly and with the equipment and hardware that I choose.

I have purchased a Balsa USA Eindecker 90 kit and this most likely will be my next model. The ARF's can sit in the boxes and will wait till I am in a better frame of mind towards ARF's.

Thanks for the responses. According to the other thread, 20gx requires modifications to the firewall, but still not sure about the gt 22.
