Default Looking for an Extra for a DLE-20

Just crashed my oldest plane, a Seagull Harrier .90 that had my Saito 100 GK on it. Engine is fine, bird is not.

Always wanted to get an Extra and get into gas power, so I'm looking for an Extra to pair up with a DLE-20 engine.

.90 size preferably.

Thank you!

Just something for thought. Lots of folks are pairing up their DLE-20's with the Great Planes Revolver 70. Lots of threads here about this subject. As I said, just something to think about.

It's a nice looking plane and I appreciate the suggestion, but I really want an Extra. I always wanted either an Extra or Edge, and I had my Fliton Edge 540 for a while. Extra is all that's left to complete my RC wish list.

Haha I agree!

Was looking at the Aeroworks Extra 60-90 but I've read a lot of bad things recently about their quality. But it does have a good combo with the DLE-20.

I had the exact same Aeroworks that you are talking about, powered by my DLE-20. To make a long story short, it crashed and totaled on its very first take off. Entire tail assembly separated from this model. Anybody who knew anything about aircraft structures, including myself knew that it was a total " structural " failure.

I notified Aeroworks a number of times, mind you not looking for any reimbursement, but only to advise them that they have a problem with this model. I received absolutely " NO " replies. Not even a, we are sorry. As far as I am concerned, I will be throwing snowballs in hell before I ever own another Aeroworks model.

If you want to build I saw the great planes 300 kit 60-90 size with a DLE 20 in it and it flew great.
