World Models 1/4 scale Piper Pawnee 108" w/s WOW!!!!
Just thought Id post some pics. Looks very, very nice. The clear cowl template is marked for a DA50 or a OS55. The servo covers are actually molded resign. Thats a first for me. Pilot is included. Guess rim around firewall is for extra support. Haven't seen this on any plane. Gonna use a DLE 61 w/pitts muffler. Cowl cutouts are for standard side muffler. Pitts will be totally concealed. Cockpit panel has plastic over gauges. Looks awesome. No cockpit panel decal sheet here. Rudder is pull-pull. Ele servos are inside fuse. Covering is very nice, just like the other WM I've had. Main wheels are suppose to be inflatable. I wont get to this till the fall. Plane is quite big. Pics do not do justice for the size.
I was thinking about the Troy Built Models version of this, but this one I think blows it away. This was $499 plus $50 for shipping. TBM is $429, but they take you for a whopping $140 shipping from Fla to Mich. Their plane is a little smaller. Doesn't include a pilot, clear cowl template or the nice cockpit panel among other things. Theirs does have a removable hatch which is nice. The WM has two access openings on bottom of fuse. Not sure what Im gonna think of them.
