Default EFlite Super Cub 25e

Help! I'm putting together the Super Cub and I've gotten to the part where you install the tail light before you hinge the rudder. In my aircraft there is not a pre installed tube to run the wire down through the tail. I emailed Horizon and they said the tube is no longer installed. Before I drill a hole in the tail of the airplane to try and thread the limp wire the length of the fuselage, has anyone come across this and found an easier solution?

Thanks
Mike

If I were faced with fishing that wire through there , I'd drill the required holes and then use very stiff plastic tubing to run my own conduit for the limp wire to run through . I would use the outer piece of one of those Sullivan "Gold-N-Rod" or Du-bro "Lazer Rods" flexible pushrod sets for the piece of tubing . Then just fish the wire through it as originally planned . Both of those products come in 48" length so it would be plenty long enough to do the job here . Good Luck with it .
