Hello, I am hoping anyone can help me PLEASE
I bought a Great Planes Kit from a Hobby shop that was going out of business
and it was a new kit of course OLD stock but the box was sealed and i
didn't think
anything of it but when I got home there was no hardware packages in there.
This is what I need, can you tell me if you have any or can get it.
1. GPMA2450 - Bracket Set 1/3 Christen Eagle II ARF
2.GPMA2454 - Flying Wire Set 1/3 Christen Eagle II ARF
3. all the screws, tail wheel, just all the hardware basiclly
I feel i got screwed on this deal
as they told me it was a new kit, now if it it was not there to begin
with then
there is not much I can do now. But all hardware in the baggies is
gone. everything else of course is there.
any help would greatly be appreciated thank you for your time

Missing that much makes things difficult but not impossible. Almost all hardware is standard Great Planes/Tower but it can get a little costly buying piecemeal. The only specific hardware that may be difficult to duplicate are the small brackets for strut and flying wire but search Tower for the brackets under Staggerwing and/or Super Stearman. A lot of hardware is similar across the ARF bipe line.

Unless I am confusing this with a different ARF....
Research this kit WELL, the early ones were famous for the Top wings ripping off in flight. The hard points where the hood cabanes mounted were practically balsa and VERY week !
Also two friends of mine have this kit and while they do fly great.. they are constantly coming loose at glue joints. Where you can get at the internal structure and firewall re-glue everything ...
